Darvio "The Kingpin" Morrow is a 10-year entertainment industry executive, creator of local radio show The Avenue, and a passionate, avid supporter of Cleveland. He was born in Euclid and raised in Cleveland. "I'm from the Collinwood neighborhood. And I still live in Cleveland, baby! I love this city."
Darvio's family moved to Cleveland from Tennessee in the 1950s. "My late grandmother was the head chef at the legendary Juanita's, cooking for Cleveland Browns players, politicians and other dignitaries. Our family has always been very involved in the city. My father is a retiree from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, where he worked for three decades and served as the Vice President of his union. My mother serves as the CEO of the Institutional Community Development Corporation, a non-profit dedicated to helping Cleveland economically through arts and entertainment, with a specific emphasis on the youth."
